What we collect, why we collect it, and how to remove it.

Clash Intel collects the minimum data needed to track Clash of Clans Legend League battles and deliver alerts. We do not collect personal information beyond what Discord and the Clash of Clans API already make public. We do not sell, share, or monetize any data. You can remove your data at any time using bot commands or by contacting the developer.
/track add (to know where to send DM alerts), or /link (to associate your Discord account with a Clash of Clans player tag)./track add or /link. Used to look up battle data from Supercell's public API./legendlogs).The data above is the minimum necessary for the bot to function. Without Discord user IDs, we cannot deliver DM alerts. Without player tags, we cannot fetch battle data. Without battle data, we cannot provide historical logs or trigger alerts.
All data is stored in a private SQLite database on the developer's self-hosted server (a DigitalOcean droplet). The server is not shared with third parties. No data is sold, leased, or transferred to any external service.
By using /link, you make the association between your Discord account and your Clash of Clans player tag visible to anyone who runs /whois or /links. This is intentional — it lets clanmates identify each other's Discord accounts. If you do not want this association to be public, do not use /link.
Information returned by /lookup (town hall, trophies, country, name history) is fetched live from the public Clash of Clans API and is not stored in any private form.
You have full control over your data:
/unlink removes your Discord ↔ player tag association/track remove stops tracking a player and removes their tracking entry in that serverTracking entries are deleted immediately when you run /track remove. Account links are deleted immediately when you run /unlink. Historical battle data is retained to support the /legendlogs feature; it can be deleted on request via DM.
Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old (or older in some jurisdictions). Clash Intel does not knowingly collect data from users below the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service. If you believe a child under the applicable age has interacted with the bot, contact the developer for immediate data removal.
While we take reasonable steps to protect stored data — including firewall configuration, HTTPS, and limited server access — no system is perfectly secure. Because we only store data that is already public (via Discord and the Clash of Clans API), the impact of any potential breach is minimal.
